Child Car Seat Inspections

In 2001 Hampton Fire & Rescue along with Hampton Firefighters established our car seat inspection program.  The program is designed for parents, guardians, and caregivers to not only have their child's car seat inspected and installed by certified inspectors but participants are instructed how to properly install the car seat themselves.

Currently there are two car seat inspectors/installors.  All of our inspectors receive initial extensive training, many hours of continuing education, and are required to recertify every two years.
